Article: "Dear Triple B": Art Review in The Boston Phoenix on June 25, 2010

Miss Adventure. Need Advice on a delicate matter of a sexual nature? Seeking a women’s perspective on carnal pleasure?

Dear Miss Adventure,
I am interested in adult theater but tired of boring porn shows and strip clubs. Where can I see something different in exotic entertainment in the Boston Area?

Dear Triple B,
You are too late, for now. You should have checked out the hottest show around, the daring, dynamic duo of Tiiu and Eric X (last week at Sin-O-Matic) who have wowed crowds in the past with their eye-popping, boundary-crossing, jaw-dropping, fire extinguisher-getting erotic performances. Their recent act "Lover's Revenge," brought the pair back with extra special props such as body bags, gas masks, body paint.

Here, Tiiu comments, “When I joined the Boston fetish community, I  saw a lack of an actual fetish theme and a need from the community for more dynamic fetish-based performances. After much discussion with Eric X, we chose to push the limits of what can be done in a public setting, even with the restrictions in Boston. Our first show in 2009, “Dom-Me” was a performance about two dominant switchs pushing several high-intensity fetishes to engages the viewer. Since then, we’ve hesitated to perform again because of all the hype.

People have asked us, ‘How are you guys going to top that?!’ I asked, ‘When is the last time you saw a full-stage set at a club?’ This time around every element has been considered – how we dress, makeup, environment and theme became our focus. It’s a lot to incorporate for only two people, but we feel it should be done.

Since Eric X and I have similar fetishs, performing together only enhances the way we communicate and interact with one another, making for a stronger relationship. Our chemistry comes out naturally when we perform together, it’s less of an act and more of who we are individually and as a unit.”

Eric X adds, “It is easier to perform with Tiiu which helps the performance to be more extreme, pushing the limits of what can be possible. Performing with others, you have the obstacle of what you can and cannot do due to the person’s likes and dislikes or their partner’s play restrictions.

Our performance will not be one of the lackluster performances that the scene has plenty of already, instead it is edgy… raw… and passionate. We have chemistry which is very evident in our final product if we go as planned or falter.’
