I have been asked on a number of occasions over the last year if I would be interested in teaching an art class at The Boston Haven. But before committing to such an endeavor, I want to see how much interested there is by others.

Why have Me teach the class?

Well for those of you who do not know me, I am a Fine Artist who does large scale highly realistic figure drawings with a Master’s Degree from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University, also known as, The Boston Museum School. I have taught art classes over the last 5 years to name a few, at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA, California State University of Long Beach, CA and at The Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach, CA, where I was also the Artist in Resident.

If I were to teach a class, it will be more in the manner of how I have always taught my classes. This means the class would not just be a show up when you feel like it kind of class and mess around, though that is fun too. This would be more of a course you would take at any Art College or Art Institute with an erotic twist.

 

 So if you are interested in…

• Careful rendering of various subject matter drawn from direct observation!!!
• Value, focusing deep contrast into shadows and gentle gradations.
• Close attention to mundane or ordinary things transformed into carefully rendered drawings.
• Using various spatial systems such as linear perspective, illusion of three-dimensional space, aerial views and other ways of creating/organizing space.

The course would be a mixed media (dry and wet) drawing course in which I encourage the use of a variety of materials and explore the relationship between the media and process. There will be demonstrations of material, technique, conceptual strategies and the investigation in relation to mixed media with the aid of one or two bound models at a time for you to draw from, to focus on skills such as composition, light and dark and technical mastery of drawing the human form.

This course will be open to all from beginner to the more advanced skill level. It would be a 6-8 meeting course that would meet every other week for 3-4 hours each meeting date. There will also be a few outside of class projects to practice what you have learned and hone your skills with.

Instead of charging for the class each time you show up there will be a one time fee to be paid so that I can book and pay the models for the course in which you will be drawing from. Most classes taught like this can cost in upwards of $600-$1200 per course at an Art School and $200-$450 at most Museums like the MFA in Boston, MA. I am thinking of charging a cost of $165 per person.

 

The money will go to:

• Model: normally paid $20-30/hour but our will be bound and nude and will need to be paid more for their time.
• Teacher: normally I get paid $35-50/hour to teach and will be taking a VERY modest fee that will not even equal $10/hour.
• Space: normally costs $400 for 3-4 hours and will be paying a much lower fee for the class time (thank God… a.k.a. Goddess Arsine)

1. "What is this for?"
This is for my Solo Graduate Thesis Show in April of 2011. The main idea is tomake 8-10 drawings with the movers and shakers of the Boston Fetish Scene to take part in this project. So if you are on the list in my mind you have met my needs for the project. There is more to it then this but it is all I can share at this time. For further information on the concept for my Thesis Show you will have to come see the show and read my thesis artist statement.

2. "What do you want me to do?"
Easy, be yourself and do what you are okay with. Remember, not only will people within our fetish community see this work but so will the outside art world community. Your real names will not be used in the work but each piece will be labeled with your fetish a.k.a. name. Each drawing will be about YOU and YOUR personal fetishes and I am just the lookie-lou taking the photos documentation for it and later I will use the photos to draw from. So really it can be as tame with yourself fully clothes or as crazy as you like. You come up with what you what to do for the drawing. Run a few of your ideas by me before hand and then we shoot.

Ideas: The environment will not be drawn so don't worry about a set design or anything like that. It will just be a black sheet, one single light and me with a camera.  The new work will not strictly be BDSM based work. I am looking for elements of BDSM but I am also hoping to have more SEXUAL CONDUCT as well.

Meaning I am looking for half dressed fetish clothing (can be costume), full or partial nudity, sexual penetration, cock, pussy and ass worship, Domme and Dom with slaves, FemDom penetration, spanking, wax play, you fill in the blank.

Montreal Fetish Weekend Fashion Show

During the Montreal Fetish Weekend Fashion Show I walked the runway in a uniquely design get-up by the talented Sadie Masokissed who is more known as Tara Emory. She is a Boston local artist who makes fun filled custom costume designs that will turn heads and make the rest trip over their own feet as you pass them by. I also walked the runway for the ever talented Miss Rubber World 2010, Dawnamatrix at this years Montreal Fetish Weekend Fashion Show ! Dawnamatrix is known throughout Boston for her beautiful multicolored hand cut appligue kimonos which you can see in her photo gallery.
