With a fistful of shamelessly self-promoting flyers and a toy bag full of dreams, Miss Adventure (accompanied by the handsome Mr. Adventure) headed for the 34th Fetish Fair Fleamarket over Valentine's Day weekend. Sin city of the east coast, Providence, Rhode Island, played host with the Westin Hotel as home to the kink convention...

... By now, we were parched, pooped and thus headed to our room to repair and refresh for the night's activities. On the schedule, a private play party billed as "Twisted!" Happy to report back: it was, like a pretzel with much much mustard. The scene was made in an anon art gallery where hot dominas and dreamy doms came out to flog the obedient subs that were in abundance. Other folk, like us, were having an enthusiastic look-see.

Outfitted in a Brute Force corset and plying her formidable skills was stunning Mistress Deanna, who made a lasting impression with some nifty implements, including a pair of red deer skin flogger and scorpion whip. Interesting art of all persuasions everywhere you looked (and sat).

Next, "Dom-Me" drew our attention with tantalizing, switched-up fetish tableaus, played out con brio by underground artist Tiiu Ashcraft and Eric X, that stimulated and stunned the crowd to thunderous applause. And you wonder what they do when they're not on stage. Catch the dynamic duo at fetish nights, Jaded and Sin-O-Matic in months to come.

With that, Mr. A and I retired to create "tableaus" of our own. See you at FFF 35 this summer!!

Tiiu Ashcraft - Fetish Artist and Beauty

She takes her tools - charcoal, conte, carbon powder, ink, acrylic - and shapes them on her large pieces of paper. From what seems a simple sheet, she bends them, marks her target, and from this act an image emerges.

Tiiu captures the most intimate exchanges of bdsm in her work.

Each moment is but that, as the Creatrix, ensures that it shall have its own life. There is no shellac, no fixative or other preservatives. The piece will fade overtime, and the memory will remain.

The Creatrix will be on display soon, and if you are in the area (or wish a Spring Break) you should visit the Rochester Erotic Arts Festival. She will be there and her animate images need not be missed.
